Following the leadership change appointing Pierre Tossut as the CEO of the Puratos Group, Puratos’s Board of Directors has appointed Paul Baisier as his successor effective immediately. Paul Baisier, previously Business Unit Director Bakery Improvers & Mixes will become a member of the Group Executive Committee (GEC) and is set to continue driving innovation within Puratos.

Today, more than 1100 R&D Researchers and Technical Advisors worldwide are working together with Puratos’s customers and partners on creating innovative food solutions for the health and well-being of people everywhere.
Over his 21 years at Puratos, Paul Baisier successfully held different roles in Puratos’s Strategic Business Units and within R&D, such as R&D Manager APAC or R&D Manager at Puratos’s HQ in Groot-Bijgaarden. Paul has also focused on open innovation, collaborating closely with research partners and top universities, as well as notably setting up the Asia Development Center, our Asian hub for regional R&D. Paul is Bio Engineer from the University of Ghent. He also holds a Master Degree in General Management from the Open University Malaysia and completed an International Management Programme at the Vlerick Business School in Belgium and the Advanced Management Programme at Insead, France.
With his innovative mindset and a strong Business Development focus, Paul is well-set to continue to successfully drive Puratos R&D programs, building on the legacy of Pierre Tossut, who took a Group CEO role last month.
